Stop paying the SaaS Tax.
Your business rents a dozen apps, priced per seat, that each do a slice of the job. Software is now cheap to build. Uptiq's engineers build the CRM, project tracker, help desk and HR tools you actually use, shaped around how your team works, so you can cancel the subscriptions.
You pay it every month, on every seat, whether the tool fits or not.
The SaaS Tax is what a business pays to rent generic software: the per-seat fees, the features nobody uses, and the time spent copying data between apps that don't talk to each other.
Every new hire raises the bill on every tool, even for people who log in once a month.
You pay for the whole plan. Your team uses the few screens that match how it works.
Customers live in one app, projects in another, invoices in a third. Reports mean exports and spreadsheets.
Zapier chains, CSV uploads and manual updates hold the stack together, until one breaks.
Software abundance changes the math.
With AI doing much of the coding, building software shaped to your business now costs a fraction of what it did. Uptiq pairs a governed platform with a forward-deployed engineer who builds, connects and maintains your tools. You get software that fits, with your data in one place, without a per-seat meter running.

The software you could stop renting.
Most business apps are forms, records, workflows and reports. Those we rebuild. Where a licensed or infrastructure service has to stay, like payroll tax filing or card payments, we keep that service and replace the app on top.
Product names are examples of each category and belong to their owners. Uptiq is not affiliated with them.

- Audit your stack
We list every subscription with its seats, cost and how much it's actually used.
- Pick the first tool
Usually the one with the highest cost per active user, or the one your team works around most.
- Build and migrate
Your engineer builds it on Uptiq, moves your data across, and runs it alongside the old tool.
- Cancel the subscription
Once your team has switched, you cancel. Then we move to the next tool on the list.
Questions about replacing your software.
Isn't custom software expensive to maintain?
It used to be. Your Uptiq plan includes a dedicated engineer every week, so fixes and changes are part of the subscription, not a separate project.
What happens to the data in our current tools?
We migrate it into the new build and run both side by side until your team is comfortable. You cancel the old tool only after the switch.
What don't you replace?
Systems of record and regulated services: your accounting ledger, bank and payment processing, and payroll tax filing. We connect to those and replace the apps around them.
Is it secure?
Builds run on the Uptiq platform, built for banks and regulated lenders, with role-based access and an audit trail on every action.
How long does a replacement take?
It depends on the tool and how you use it. We scope each one on the audit call and give you a plan before we start.
Can you replace tools for a larger company?
Yes. The same approach works for enterprise stacks, where seat counts make the SaaS Tax much larger. Book a call and we'll scope it.
